I know that this blog post is well over due and my apologies. July and August were both extremely busy months for me, especially with wedding planning. During my absence, I received many revelations that I believe will bless you all and help you get through your weeks and I will share them throughout the next few weeks.

I received an email last month and it was about my Amazon Prime membership. It stated that my student membership was about to end if I didn’t update my account.  It also stated that I would lose my discount and my membership would automatically renew at regular price.  At the time I thought nothing of the email until later I was reading Romans 12:2, “Do not conform to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” In order to renew something, you have to repeat, or reestablish. For example, our license, memberships, our minds, etc. We as Christians also need to be renewed. I wish we could be set up on an automatic renewal like Amazon, but that is where we must discern our own selves; if we feel ourselves slipping or getting tired, we must draw near to Him and ask him to renew us. We get weary, we get overwhelmed, and sometimes pray less, or read our word less, but, the good news is that God is there waiting to renew us. Isiah 40:30-31 says, “Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” That verse just gives me so much comfort knowing that if I put my hope in the lord that he will renew my strength. Not only my strength, but yours as well. This week I challenge you that whatever you are going through, draw near to God, put your hope in Him, and ask Him to renew your strength.
