“Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up.” Proverbs 12:25 (NIV)
Good morning to you all and happy Wednesday. It is the middle of the week and we have almost made it through. I do apologize for my absence as I was overwhelmed with finals, graduation, work, etc.; but, I made it through and I have new content that I am excited to share with you all. Today’s motivational post is very simple, Proverbs 12:25.
Life gets rough and tough sometimes. We get overwhelmed, we can get anxious, but the Lord tells us to not be anxious and to cast all of our cares on Him. This is God’s encouragement for us. He is encouraging us that he has everything, we just need to sit back and let him work. The above scripture tells us that anxiety can weigh the heart down, but a kind word cheers it up. We can look to God’s words and use those to cheer us up in our times of need. For the rest of the week, I challenge you all to use kind words to cheer others up. Be encouraging to others, uplift, and speak life. Remember, our words are powerful.
