“Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” Psalm 27:14 English Standard Version (ESV)
We have all heard the saying patience is a virtue, but what does it really mean? A virtue is a behavior, so having patience as a virtue simply means to have the behavior of patience. And patience is a virtue means the ability to wait for something without getting angry or upset, this is a valuable quality in a person. We all long to have patience or be a patient person, but it is sometimes hard. We want things done immediately and we don’t like to wait, but the bible says wait for the Lord and be strong. Maybe you’re praying to God and he’s not answering, but wait for the Lord. Maybe you’re facing difficulty at home, on your job, or at school, wait for the Lord. No matter what you are facing be patient and wait for the Lord. For He holds everything in his hands. Be strong, keep your faith, and wait for the Lord.
