Stay Prayed Up
“16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 New International Version (NIV)
I am a firm believer that everyone should have a strong prayer life. Even if you are not a member of a church, attend church regularly, etc. I still believe you should pray. Not only should everyone have a prayer life, everyone should stay “prayed up.” To stay prayed up simply means to keep your mind on the Lord and stay in his word. If we are prayed up and stay in the word of the Lord then we are slow to anger, to react to problems, etc.
When you are prayed up, you can handle life’s situations better because you are in the word. Stay prayed up and continue to pray no matter what. Like the scripture above says, pray continually. No matter the circumstance or what you’re going through, continue to pray and stay prayed up. The Lord may not come when you want him, but he’s an on-time God.
