It’s Not Always the Devil

“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.” King James Version

Us a Christians sometimes make the mistake that every time bad comes our way that it is always the devil. Well, I have some news. God can also send us trouble and rearrange our plans. I know it may seem like you are going through a lot right now and that’s okay. This just may be your season to endure some trials, but stay strong, the end is near. God never puts more on us than we can bear, and one thing for sure is that God is always by our side.

The scripture above says no weapon formed against thee shall prosper. God warns us that the weapon, or trials we face will be formed, but they will not prosper against us. What I’ve learned from experience is that God puts us through trials and tests to make us stronger or achieve other traits, to help others, and to lean solely on Him. Sometimes God knocks us all the way down so we have no choice but to lean on him and trust him. I know it is sad, but for some people if they didn’t go through things they wouldn’t lean on God. I know for myself, my prayer life is much stronger when I’m going through something as opposed to when things are going good. But one thing we must remember is that God sends us tests and trials just like the devil, but while the devil means it for harm, God means it for our good.

Keep believing and trusting in the Lord, even when troubles arise, ask God what he wants you to learn from the situation. Remember, everything happens for a reason.
